We strive to develop, resource and mange a high quality educational children’s service.

Miranda Kindergarten aims to provide a beautiful, a safe environment where children are valued and encouraged to engage in quality learning experiences and have their lives enriched through nurturing relationships.

  • We acknowledge the United Nations Rights of the Child and respect the best interests of each child.

  • We acknowledge that children belong first to a family and strive to be culturally responsive to the uniqueness of each child.

  • We value the importance of children, parents, educators, professionals, and organisations in our community. We encourage positive, respectful relationships for the benefit of children and families. 

  • We believe that children need a safe, inclusive environment to support their wellbeing, physical and mental health, and positive sense of self. 

  • We embed the Principles, Practices and Learning Outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework and believe that children realise their potential through play-based opportunities to:

    • Express emotions thoughts and ideas

  • We believe the role of the educator is to encourage children’s knowledge and skills through intentional teaching. We assist them to constructing meaning through collaboration with peers and by interacting with the learning environment.

  • We respect and care for our environment and encourage children, educators, and families to use sustainable practises in their daily routines.

  • Our educators value continued professional learning, reflective practice, and collaboration to create a learning community to improve educational outcomes for all.
