OUR MANAGEMENT
Our preschool is managed by an elected committee of parents who volunteer to ensure the preschool meets regulations and the needs of our children and families. We encourage families to attend our Annual General Meeting and potentially take a position on our Management Committee. The positions include:
President – Head of the Committee and Chairperson of meetings. The President has the responsibility to ensure the successful function of the Association, the adherence to its constitution and a responsibility to foster fair participation of all members.
Secretary – The Secretary is the principal administrative officer and is responsible for preparing the minutes if each meeting and a range of routine administrative tasks.
Treasurer – The Treasurer is responsible for the financial management of the Association, maintain records and presents accounts in the form of a report at each meeting. The Treasurer presents all records for auditing each year.
Committee Member – Attends meetings to discuss any matter relating to the running of the Association.
All parents become members of the Association upon enrolment of their child and are encouraged to provide feedback on our policies and all aspects of Miranda Kindergarten’s strategic plan. Parents are also encouraged to join our Social Committee to assist in organising fun family events.
